Indonesia 2012

Honestly, Indonesia as a whole was too unfamiliar to ever really appeal to me.   Borneo, with its huge wildlife diversity, is on my bucket list.   Recently a couple I met in a bar insisted that I go diving in Flores.   I’ve gotten lots of advice not to visit the island of Bali, because it’s been ‘ruined’ by tourism.   Well, Bali is just where I ended up to celebrate “Christmas” with my parents (in March!) and ultimately pursue a long term goal of commencing various writing projects while living more cheaply than I could ever live back home.
