Goal #3 of my four goals for 2017 is going swimmingly, so far.
I really like that this goal causes me to pause the night before, think through the coming day, and speculate as to which will be the most unique part of my day to capture. Sometimes I forego capturing the thing I’m most excited about (e.g. a storytelling performance last Wednesday… part of goal #4) in favor of something that will only happen once (e.g. helping a new friend get a load of pallets for a project).

A local-related goal I have for part of this year is to see my loved ones, 1:1, once a month. This month my nephew and I had a coffee shop & board games date. We discovered he does not like Italian sodas.
January 9:
After an entire lifetime of not being able to fall asleep at night, an injury requiring a heating pad finally revealed why. Apparently, I’m cold. Finally, my overdue upgrade so I can warm up all at once, instead of 12″x 18″ at a time.
January 10:
Two of my five favorite littles… can’t complain about backyard, full-moon baseball in January!
January 11:
This truck doing some final duty before it moves onto new ownership. It’s been a lovely 20 years, you big black Dodge.
January 12:
Making my nephews crepes for dinner, using the amazing recipe I learned in Vermont last year. Little dude loves his new cars.
January 13:
Long overdue, as usual. Alexis is the bomb.com. Love her! Friday the 13th didn’t bring me anything unpleasant.
January 14:
Learning about water harvesting and permaculture from a dynamo who just might be my new favorite person. Kind of a work exchange scenario – love meeting new people this way! (She didn’t want her healing nose to go on record.)
